Brasch Hazardous Location Unit Heaters are designed for rugged industrial applications where the possibility of explosion or fire exists due to the presence of flammable gases, vapors, powdered metals or dust.  They employ low watt density copper coated steel sheathed elements immersed in an ethylene-glycol solution and a spiral aluminum finned tubular steel heat exchanger.  They are intended for use in applications compliant with UL Class I, Group D, Divisions 1 and 2 and Class II, Groups E, F and G, Divisions 1 and 2.
